I just bought a smaller horizontal mill with a add on vertical head. It's a Rusnok head, Model 70 . Belt drive, 5 speeds. 380,700, 1200, 2500, and 5200 rpm. It has a quill with an 1 1/2 inch travel and a 1/2 inch collet with a 3/8 split bushing in it. ( so I could use 1/2 or 3/8 cutters without any extra work).

Does anyone know which collet is used in the old Rusnok model 70 vertical head? This mill head was used on the Sheldon model 0 horizontal mill. The Sheldon catalog says it uses A9041-Y1 or A9041-Y2 collets. A9041 is the part number for the mill. I think I read somewhere that this mill uses a plain Y collet.

I just picked up a Sheldon horizontal mill with a Rusnok vertical head that replaces the overarm and is powered by the motor in the base of the machine. The ways have a small step at the rear of the knee but the machine apears complete and in decent shape. Mill also has the quick change powerfeed.
