A wonderful specimen of the classic Smithsonite from the Monte Cristo Mine in Rush Creek, Arkansas. The piece has a good coverage of rich yellow-orange aggregates of eye-catching Smithsonite (which get their color from cadmium content) which are coating "curved" rhombs of Dolomite on matrix. There is a little damage, but it's in good shape overall.
