That is interesting information. I don't have a ACME gage yet so I used the feedscrew to check the tool blank. I used 1/4" round HSS. I mounted it in a 1/2" boring bar. You guys will laugh at how I did the grinding. I had some inspiration and tilted my drill press table to 14 and 1/2*, as close as I could measure it with a protractor.
